Application process
Valentin Hering, Cluj-Napoca:
"Am si muncit foarte mult, trebuie sa recunosc, dar a meritat."

The application process depends on the program you choose.

SLEF-PLACEMENT

If you choose the Self-Placed option, apart from the required application documents, you will need to bring proof of a job offer from an American company.

Host Company
Agreement & Verification

completed by the company where you will be working as an intern. This document provides details about the company and defines the rules and expectations of Host Companies participating in the program.

Training/Internship Placement Plan (DS-7002)
completed and signed by Host Company (HC) and participant. This is an essential part of the application process. It allows the HC to highlight the role you will be fulfilling within the company and what you will learn during the program. It should be edited. A company qualifies as an HC if it has at least 25 employees and/or an annual income of $3 million.

PRE-PLACEMENT

If you choose the Pre-Placed option, you come to one of our offices with the required documents, and we find you a practical training placement at a U.S. company related to your studies and experience. Or you can just send us your CV, and we will let you know as soon as we find something that matches your qualifications.

Your Curriculum Vitae must be written in English and tailored to an American resume format. It is extremely important to pay attention to the presentation and content of the CV; it is your first contact with your potential employer. A well-crafted CV, clearly showing employers exactly what skills they can expect from you, can help you in the first phase of selection.
