  • Grand Canion – un loc ce merita vazut si explorat

Grand Canyon- a place worth seeing and exploring

The experience of working and living as an American for 10 months meant a lot to me. I had an excellent employer who helped me to understand what is like to work in a dynamic environment as the United States. Grand Canyon is an amazing place, worth seeing and exploring. All details relating my work agreement brought to my knowledge before leaving, proved to be true at my arriving there. I recommend to all who have the necessary open-mindness to live and work in the USA for a longer period, to try it with confidence, I have been pleasantly impressed of what America means.

  • A thousand Yellowstone wonders are calling

A thousand Yellowstone wonders are calling

If you will ever have the chance to go to the Yellowstone National Park, don’t leave out at least 2 ‘musts’, basic locations of this park, namely: Grand Canyon and the breath- taking Old Faithful. This for new-comers, since there are a lot of places which wait to be discovered and explored. Though I wasn’t a simple tourist, for 7 months I lived in a paradise on Earth. I worked as a deposit clerk at the Delaware North Companies Parks and Resort in Yellowstone. I was given the chance to work in a very hospitable staff, with nice and honest people. The first days were harder, the period of integration(on the first 2 days I had to participate on a training, which required concentration and a high sense of responsibility, which I hadn’t been used to before), with the help of some amazing people after 2 weeks I could say that I already felt quite at home. After 2 months of intensive work I managed to take 3 days off which I used to try and get to know the surrounding places better. The best experiences I had were when I went rafting on the Yellowstone River, skied on the Mount Washburn or when taking long walks in the wild, surrounded by buffalo, deer and other ‘domestic’ animals. I felt as if I were in some kind of Amerindian film, back from the 70’s. I believe that even with having a busy schedule and the constant need learn how to deal with stressful situations, this experience is worth living, because you can’t make money just sitting around.

  • Americanii sunt primitori si deschisi

Americans are hospitable and open- minded

I have spent 10 brilliant months in America. They passed so quickly that even now it’s hard for me to believe that is over. I regret that I had to come back and I will try again to apply to the H2B program. I felt great there, Americans were very hospitable and open. I worked in an amusement park in New England. It was really magnificent, every day a lot of cheerful people, many happy children! I worked 8 to 10 hours a day, 5 days a week. I sold tickets for rides, made popcorn, sold refreshments. The work wasn’t that hard, and the pay was satisfactory. In my spare time I went shopping, I visited New York, Boston. I went camping with my friends to Moosehead Lake. Super fun!!! If you have get the chance go! Trust me you won’t regret it.

  • Recomand o experienta de neuitat

An unforgettable experience I really recommend

Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity to go to the States. It was a dream that came true! I was with an H2B visa in Grand Canyon, probably everyone has heard about it. A splendid place with scenery that you just can’t imagine. Very hot, but nice. Actually, all of America is full of amazing places. I especially liked Las Vegas: the lights, hotels, casinos, money, you just feel live. It’s an unforgettable experience and I recommend it to everyone - go to America at least one time. It is really worth it!
