Work and Travel Greece is for young people who are looking for a job in the hospitality industry on the mainland or on one of the Greek islands.

Because you work in entry-level position you do not need experience. There are a few exceptions where experience

is necessary (or lifeguard positions at the hotel receptionist, for example).

Front desk:
Reception / Assistant Reception

Restaurant:
Assistant Service / Waiter / Waitress

Bar:
Bar assistant / Bartender

Bell boy
Groom (Housekeepers)

Kitchen help / Cook Assistant

Lifeguard / Pool Attendant / Beach boy

Masseur / Spa Staff

Children Entertainer / Entertainer

Employers will provide an on-site training that will help you fulfill your duties.

LENGHT OF EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT

You will be working during the summer, the contracts vary depending on program length. You can work 1.5-3 months, starting in June (in particular for students) or work 4-6 months, starting in April. Whether you are a student or non-student, you can apply to any version of the program.

WAGE

The wage depends on the employer, but in principle starts from 450-500 euros per month. Your earnings may increase if your job includes overtime, tips, or other benefits. Generally you will earn between 500 and 700 EUR / month. You can get an idea of the total benefits you receive by adding accommodation and the three free meals a day

ACCOMMODATION AND MEALS

They are included in the program fee and guaranteed by the employer. You will have provided free accommodation and three meals a day.
