A few years ago we decided we wanted to make the program more accessible to students, regardless of their financial status. This is how the Work and Travel loan, offered by our partners - BRD Societe Generale - came into existence. This credit is the only of its kind in Romania, based on your future income, and exclusively dedicated to students who want to participate in the Work and Travel program
The principle is quite simple: you get money, enough to cover all your expenses (up to $3,000), and you give it back when you return from the States.
The application procedure is easy: you come to one of AE's country offices, apply for the Work and Travel program, and pay the first installment of the program cost, and we give you the documents you need to apply for the credit. You can get between $250 and $3,000 to cover the cost of your program, visa fees, SEVIS fee, airline ticket, and pocket money for expenses before you receive your first paycheck.
