Program requirements

The requirements to apply for the 2008 WT program are:
  • over 18 years old;
  • intermediate English level;
  • to be an undergraduate student, or a post-graduate student, within an accredited private or public university or which is in the process of being accredited.
U.S. Embassy in Bucharest announced that starting 2010 school grades are not a criteria anymore for any student, regardless of year of study. Continuing, it will not be any discrimination for students in the 1st year of study. Moreover, you can stay in the United States until October 31, before the October 1 date that was supposed to go back until 2009. In other words, "all students are invited to Work & Travel in the USA".
